Alila: Maldives

Singaporean Architect, Chan Soo Khian led the design of the new Alila resort in the Maldives. The 50 eco-friendly villa’s rest on stilts above the cystalline lagoon and the design and construction was guided by environmental impact studies. The resort also implements rainwater harvesting and minimises disruption to coral around the island.
